Andrew Wimble

Andrew has extensive private banking and investment management experience, having worked in the City for over 35 years. Previously working for investment managers JM Finn & Co, Barclays Wealth (East Africa), Kleinwort Benson (UK) and ANZ Grindlays Bank (Middle East). In the 80’s he started his financial career as a Lloyd’s insurance broker and a Merrill Lynch stockbroker.

Andrew is a trustee and chairman of the investment committees of The Rifles Regimental Charities and D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, chairman of the investment committee of the Savoy Educational Trust, a school governor and committee member of the Charity Investors Group. Away from investment management he is a keen aviator and tennis player.

Etchilhampton is a rural village at the geographical centre of Wiltshire, within the Pewsey Vale. Written evidence of Etchilhampton dates to 1086 in the Doomsday Book where the village, valued at £6, was mentioned three times, and had paid taxes for 7 hides.
